Flash is not working on Internet Explorer.

Flash is not working on Internet Explorer. I lately noticed a patch on a website page which read that it cannot read flash. And I believe flash player is installed on my PC. I don’t understand what the issue is. Does anyone know what’s wrong and come up with a solution that can probably fix it. Please check if the add-on is disabled or are you using the 64-bit edition of Internet Explorer. If either of them is the case, Adobe Flash will not work. Active-X Filtering in Internet Explorer 9 can also prevent the add-on from working. Please check all of these and let me know. To check the edition of the Internet Explorer you are using. Do the following: Open Internet Explorer, and then do one of the following:  In Internet Explorer 8 o click the Help menu o Click About Internet Explorer.  In Internet Explorer 9 o Click the Tools button, o Click About Internet Explorer. If you're using the 64-bit edition of Internet Explorer, 64-bit Edition will appear to the right of the version number. If you're using the 32-bit edition, nothing will appear to the right of the version number. So what is an option to change it? Will I have to uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy of IE? Or can I can switch between the bits on the preinstalled version? If you have installed either Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9, both a 32-bit and a 64-bit edition of the browser are available on your computer. 1. Click the Start button 2. Click All Programs 3. Click Internet Explorer. Don't click either Internet Explorer (64-bit) or Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). I would recommend the following changes on your system and enable the following. 1. Allow Previously Unused Activex controls to run without prompt 2. Automatic prompting for activex controls 3. Binary and Script behaviors 4. Download Signed Activex controls 5. Initialize and script Activex controls not marked as safe for scripting (this should prevent the prompt). 6. Run Activex Controls and plug-ins 7. Script Activex Controls marked safe for scripting Reply With Quote #8 Unread 24-03-2012 KirtiPatel KirtiPatel is offline Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 280 Re: Flash is not working on Internet Explorer. I advice that you may try to use MSE to check the virus and reinstall Adobe Flash Player. 1. Download Microsoft Security Essentials from http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx.

Looking for the voip service benefits

Looking for the voip service benefits How is this useful? VoIP saves you lot of money on your calls. VoIP gives you the flexibility where to and how to call. With traditional landlines, you are stuck with one location. With VoIP, you can use your VoIP service from anywhere in the world as long as you have high speed internet connection. You can also call using your smart phone (mobile dialers) with VoIP Reply With Quote #2 Old 21-07-2011 EINSTEIN_007's Avatar EINSTEIN_007 EINSTEIN_007 is offline Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 1,992 Re: Looking for the voip service benefits One thing that is there to be counted in the VOIP service is that it is very costly apart from having many advantages. Over the next couple of years phone over Internet will be the norm for most homes and businesses. Most companies like Sprint and AT&T are already offering VoIP within their internal networks and are starting to offer it as a complete service offering. __________________ Education, Career and Job Discussions Reply With Quote #3 Unread 1 Week Ago rettigbjorn rettigbjorn is offline Member Join Date: Apr 2012 Posts: 1 Re: Looking for the voip service benefits The main advantage of VoIP is the cost.* VoIP providers leads to lower monthly fee for local, long distance and international calls than traditional phone service.* Even if you already have a regular phone line, VoIP is a good low cost alternative to add an additional phone line*with extra features and low long distance and international rates. Another important feature is Mobility and portability. You can use the VoIP service anywhere with your internet connection. Reply With Quote Reply

How secured is my mail when logging in from someone else's computer?

How secured is my mail when logging in from someone else's computer? I am here with a serious security issue. Not an issue but a potential doubt which according to me deserves a legitimate and accurate answer. I don’t know how many other users must be wondering with the same doubt. It thus happened that I had to visit a cyber café without because there was no other go to it. I wanted to access my email on an urgent basis and so I was left with no other option. I did log in to my Gmail account there but I did a grave mistake of not enabling the private browsing option. After some time, I realized this and did not know what to do. This place is in some other state and so it is impossible for me to travel all the way till there and check if there is any sort of illegal or unauthorized access happening to my emails. But to prevent any misuse in the issue, I have changed the password. Still, I have strong worries because I realized it few hours later and it took me a day to again have an internet access and change the password. So, the correct password was available for over a day with the cyber café’s browser. Currently, there are 2 kinds of very commonly used software which is used to download emails to computers. One could be a generic email client which is Microsoft Outlook and the other one would be Google Desktop which I saw is installed in the system. Whatever the case maybe among these, the email id of the person should be properly configured in the system to access to the internet. Now what I am afraid is that does there exist any technology or settings in these software where in the email id and password can be easily grabbed from the browser and can be used to access the email over these clients then which means that by using the data in the browser to access my email on some email client and download all my mail before I could change my password? Reply With Quote #2 Unread 1 Week Ago Elazar Elazar is offline Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Posts: 352 Re: How secured is my mail when logging in from someone else's computer? I get your concern. I think, after database if there is something more sensitive to an individual is his mails. However, you should be very careful with such stuffs. Even for a collegian, email has become a very sensitive and important thing. Email notifications from their personal social networking profiles maybe the reason. But yeah, what I am trying to imply is the fact that you should always follow the guidelines that are necessary to be followed when you are using a public computer. However getting back to the issue that you have been facing I would like to make one thing very clear that both the software that you rightly mentioned is no way related to the browser. So, you can relax on that aspect. There is no possible setting which can retrieve data from the browser. But yeah, if at all you are talking about Outlook Web Access and not MS Outlook, then there might possibly a setting that can access the browser. If not that then is no reason for you care only. Also, another thing is that the browser generally asks for permission to store a password, if you deny the request, it doesn’t keep the password in its memory. So try and remember if something of that sort had happened. Do one thing, try all these things on your personal PC too, you must be get a proper solution and answer to what you just asked. But wait! It’s still not time for you to celebrate, because there are many other things that could have been done with your email account like: any malicious software in the computer that recording keystrokes or imports passwords there is also a possibility of another person using the passwords stored in browser to access your Gmail account. Anyways, I don’t think there’s any point in whining about this now. What is done is done and cannot be undone. I would like to move on but yeah, I would be grateful if you please list down the guidelines that are necessary to be followed when you are using a public computer. That would be very helpful for me as well as other users who might end up landing on this thread. Reply With Quote #4 Unread 1 Week Ago Elazar Elazar is offline Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Posts: 352 Re: How secured is my mail when logging in from someone else's computer? I would have done that even if you would not have asked. I am glad you are interested in staying careful henceforth. Anyways, going ahead with the guidelines, they are as stated below: • You should never consider sharing the password of your email id with the Cyber owner or any other individual present there asking them to check your email on your behalf. This might sound unreal to you, but these senior citizens and small kids are still ignorant about the value of data and the amount of information theft active throughout the globe. Always make sure, you only type in the email id and its password. If you are unaware of it, you can easily surf for options to do this, but sharing it should not be a part of the option • If at all you happen to store or save any data pertaining to your personal self, check and confirm that you have deleted them before leaving • When you are sitting online on a public PC, always check for the personalized browser security settings so that you are safe from the personal data exposure. Always, uncheck the checkbox next to label reading : Remember my ID on this computer. Also make sure that just like the password, the user id is kept very safe. This is to avoid minimizing the hacker’s work of crashing into your account • Beware of the spyware termed ‘Keylogger’ which is known to record all the keystrokes happening in the machine and this is reported directly to the hacker or the owner of the website. They may directly get saved into the attacker’s machine or might get collected at a specific interval. • Always remember that the data on the public computers and shared computers are exposed and available to all the users all the time. So, take care of that and make sure that all the personal details that you enter are deleted from time to time. • The first thing as soon as you enter a cyber café should be to check if it has the best and an updated version of Anti Virus and Anti Spam software. These software are sometimes efficient to work against these keyloggers and all. • Don’t go out on call and all without locking the computer • Always keep the password storage feature disabled in your system • Finally, Aalways check and confirm that you have logged out properly when you leave Cyber cafe .

I don’t think there is any limit for this it can be done on any number of amounts you can carry on doing it as much as you want this actually doesn’t matters because the content is the only thing which matters on the site for making your forum in a good count you need to have more and more content in your forum. It’s a good thing and if we talk about the limit then the limit is as far as you can. But keep in your mind that it should be your content and then it would be really fine with whatever you do. Hey I have a better thing to say what I would say is if you are having a forum and you want a good traffic on your forum then you need to do one thing just try to have the best amount of content and that to of a good quality I mean not copy pasted from other sites and then what you need to do is have some good links and then if you get many users and you are able to make up some members and all then they would also start posting the comment and then your work is done. I would like to tell you that probably should add a section of football news, the faster indexing and higher yield search results. Buzz worthy If it will help. Otherwise, you have to keep making topics. Get some recruits to help and make mods or something. Encourage those who help drive the content of their conversation and go from there, better I would say that have some topics like news and all that can be updated regular and you would have a good amount off content to post. Regular updating and that to in a heavy data is very necessary for a site to have a good traffic and to get ranking in search engine I would say that, only do one thing and that is just avoid the copy pasting from different site this would lower down your ranking in the Google search engine or may be ban other than that what you can do is keep on posting the queries and all and keep giving replies to it try to get more and more users your friends and all to get more comments from number of users and which would attract more of the users. Definitely you need to keep posting this would help to get into the ranking from google but the thing you need to take care of is your content that must not be a copy pasted one it should be your own and off good quality and then you can definitely keep on posting the content this wont harm you in anyways, in fact this would be a really good option. How to remove transparent background in Firefox 12?

How to remove transparent background in Firefox 12? I just installed FIREFOX 12 and it has a very bad appearance so just wish to put a softer color so that I can at least see the page for some more time. One that appears difficult for the eye (very white). I was on Tools/Options/colors/ and tried all the options presented, but nothing changes. Could someone help me? Thank you in advance. Reply With Quote #2 Unread 1 Week Ago Carita Carlos Carita Carlos is offline Member Join Date: Jun 2011 Posts: 512 Re: How to remove transparent background in Firefox 12? It is really very easy first of all open Firefox in Windows after doing that go to tools, in tools you will find an option button click on that button now a pop-up window will be opened there you will find many tabs from that tabs click on “CONTENT” tab. In there you will find something which would be saying that there types and colors. Here you will have to give the button color and disable the option to use system colors and allow the pages, instead of my previous section. Just accept it and close the Firefox page. Now when you open it back you will find it as grey color. I hope this has helped you out. Reply With Quote #3 Unread 1 Week Ago Hadriel Hadriel is offline Member Join Date: Jun 2011 Posts: 565 Re: How to remove transparent background in Firefox 12? Already told you the easiest way by the above user. To do it the hard way, in the Firefox directory (usually C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Firefox \) is a subdirectory called defaults, open that, then profile and finally chrome. Within this subdirectory is a file called userContent-example.css, make him a copy and rename it to userContent.css Open userContent.css with a text editor such as Notepad and add to the end: body { background-color: # ccc; } You keep it, and now. This will change the color to all pages that have no defined color. If you know CSS rules can also change the color and font, size, buttons, forms, etc. Reply With Quote Reply
