Origin VS Steam

Origin VS Steam
I use both EA Origin and steam. I came to both the retail game and have already bought many games in both. I decided with all the debate and diatribe in this forum about either I would like to join the good of both. The steam is superior in the widest selection of games, exclusive games and steam overlay. At the root EA customer service extremely first-class, easy to utilize and store cards / reward cards. Now I need to know what all the things that are better.

I should go for the EA origins because they have good customer support and offline mode works very well on EA origin. The steam also very good like steam I have good sales and DLC Is Generally Easier to Obtain. If we talking about the bad thing the steam Download Speeds are Easily Manipulated by Sales and the steam support are not at all good. On the Origin there is no more game variety and overlay is horrifying. The main negative point on the EA origin is games get deleted after 2 years whether game is popular or not.

I'll flesh of origin for EA games because of the benefits of customer service; however when it comes to the social, the achievements and steam sales game is the way forward. I use Origin EA games, simply since the customer service propel steam out of the water loving support. The client itself is not bad, but it is still in beta so should be taken into account when comparing its functionality or manifestation with steam.

Re: Origin VS Steam
I took DD games on the boxes for convenience. It is also the same reason I stay with steam at the moment. Easy to install / uninstall is also a plus for me. Look at Sims 3, an installer for the base game, things of each package and expansion. If EA is to grow to the size of Steam, you'd probably still be stuck to steam, for the simple reason that Steam was here first, so my game has arrived on Steam, so it is easier for the rest of my games here as well. So unless the source is different from a very appealing way there is no reason to switch to it as principal. I could get some games, possibly due to the uniqueness (almost never used for any other game so far, but you never know), but no shared game as I will get through Steam, for the above.

I don't see why a digital service is good when you can have your account closed for inactivity and have the facility boundaries. But to each his own in the long run if people want to buy their games from EA and not steam that is their choice. I use good ole games and Direct 2 Drive, so I'm not a member of the Legion of hammer, but there are two reasons why you do not mind using Origin.

Re: Origin VS Steam
From my experience, both Steam & Origin user, there are several things, such as customers, we may need both. Here are some: home Internet connection is lower than the vapor. It is also quite inconsistent and buggy, I lost my incomplete downloads when my Internet connection does theirs. Steam does not just stop and downloads, if there is a connection to the Internet. - User interface design is beautiful home in comparison with steam, but they lack useful features like the wish list - however, can be added in future releases. Water vapor has a large number of games that the source that is exclusive to EA games. However, EA games are mostly available at source on Steam. Customer service is excellent when using Origin - I would not say anything about Steam as I have not attempt customer service yet. My case in origin: My Dead Space Retail has a processing problem when he tried to register at the origin. After publishing EA forum, the section of origin - on their way to help live chat. Soon after, I started a conversation with a customer advisory EA (as they called it) via live chat and I explained my situation. Moments later, after the advisory suggested me to restart origin, Dead Space is at the top of my game collection, with a new key, and now you can only download if you ever lose the physical copy.

Re: Origin VS Steam
I've been with EA "Origin" team for over 10 years and never once ever had any problem with their games, methodological or else. I had to do a manual cleaning of the games to repair a difficulty I had, or had to leave everything, even in closed beta. I had a lot of troubles and writing, they were given a real solution, actually worked.

Re: Origin VS Steam
The clause of Origin to be as specific as it is is a deal breaker here. I will not sign for shit. And now I've done I would not trust them, but they changed it to something more resembling the language regulator. When I read the TOS origin was a little unclear to me whether this 2 year applied on a per game basis or simply account. I do not think that is exactly and clearly. If it can be applied on a per game basis which is a much bigger problem. Let's say you buy something like Mass Effect from them, play and after about three years later decided that I would enjoy playing the title back. I'm not sure the game would still rise to pay to play more on the basis of what I read. On the other hand, the valve has spent many years gaining the good will with the players and I trust them as such. I doubt that a particular game will be removed from the library of my steam, because I have not played for two years for whatever reason.

Re: Origin VS Steam
Years ago, EA's support is absolutely rubbish. Worse even than Steam. But that has changed. You only need to try to contact support these days to see that. Have improved the service to several magnitudes. Unfortunately the same can not be said for the support of steam, which remains stalled and is 9 times out of 10, less than useless.
