Is there a way to automatically transfer all new mail from a Hotmail to a Gmail address?

The trick to transfer and move mails in Hotmail to Gmail or vice versa from Gmail to Hotmail is by using IMAP support of Gmail and HTTP server support of Hotmail and MSN. Hotmail is typically a webmail service and Microsoft does not provides free POP3, IMAP and forwarding options for non-paying users.

In Hotmail, click on the top right on "Options" then "Forward mail to another email address", then enter the desired address.

1. Install the Outlook connector and then configure your MSN Hotmail / Windows Live Hotmail accounts with Outlook.

2. Once you have all your Hotmail email message available locally inside Outlook, configure Gmail IMAP access inside Outlook.

3. Now copy or just drag-n-drop the Hotmail folders (downloaded in Step 1) over your Gmail Inbox folder in Outlook.
