Question on Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Hello I was searching about this game on internet and while searching I found the following information about this game. And I think it’s good for the gameplay. Originally meant to be a Director's Cut, it turned into a re-imagining/"what if?" version of DR2 with Frank. They mentioned it's going to be a "fan's version" of Dead Rising 2. Terror Is Reality is still in the main story, but it will not be playable/have its own mode. There will be a new area separate from the casino & mall. New weapons, combo weapons, food, clothing, and psychopaths (old ones from DR2 will return w/ reworked stories). Co-op is returning. 2nd player plays as Chuck. Think Case West, but switched. Characters from DR2 will be returning, like Tyrone King. No word on if all the characters will be, though. Frank will be stronger than in DR1, but the enemies will be stronger, smarter, & more aggressive. Zombrex is back, as Frank needs it. Most likely, you won't have to return to a certain spot to use it. I would like to ask that do you guys have any question about it after reading all this things.

Might be a bit optimistic, but I'd love there to be a limited edition of the game. Preferably the same as the outbreak edition but with Frank as the figure. He'd sit very well on my shelf, and I can't begin to imagine the dioramas I could create between him and the zombie. Whatever happened to the zoo? And honestly, I don't think possible will people are going to shell out 60 bucks for what is essentially a reskin.

I had a feeling Capcom was going to perform somewhat like this and I was hopeful in favor of it as well, therefore I purposely didn't buy the original DR2 because I’m used to playing a game series that focuses on one protagonust, and seeing another character, Chuck Greene in Case Zero had me pondering, he's not a bad character he certainly brings a darker story to the series but I rather just be Frank, but anyway the question I want to know is this.

Re: Question on Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Within the Dead Rising games up till at the moment there were costumes based on top of other Capcom characters the first game had a costume of Megaman X, the wii remake had Spencer, DR2 with Arthur, and of course Dr. Wily in Case West (which I must add that was a very random choice but I liked it) I’m just curious as to what Capcom character they'll pull out this time, I noticed that the use of them in the DR games have been from classic Capcom games so I have a good idea that it'll be another classic character I’m hoping for either Strider or Captain Commando.

When we saw the playable build, Frank had his Double Lariat and the Somersault Kick already, despite being level 1. My guess is that either he'll have all his moves available from the start, or it could be a mix of already available & having to unlock (I don't think Frank will be able to yank organs out of zombies at the beginning of the game).

About the offline co-op: In a recent article Capcom announced 30% more zombies. It's nice that they can do that, but it doesn't add anything in my opinion. There are enough zombies walking around, I want to show off the game to friends and play together. Offline co-op would be such a greater added value as I want to play this game with friends that come over and not be limited to people on Xbox live (or a gold membership). I love dead rising, but when friends come over they rather play an offline co-op game like RE 5 / Fable 2 or 3.

Re: Question on Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
When the first photo's of a tiger in dead rising 2 emerged, I was as excited as I thought the zoo (mentioned on the Fortune city website) would be in there and deliver more variety in enemies and setting. I was a bit disappointed when I found out it was just 1 tiger and even more when Snowflake wasn't playable after the mission. (I have an Xbox360, so no cool pc mods to add for that). How cool would it have been if there were some undead animals escaping the zoo?
