Problem with Windows Email and Gmail

Problem with Windows Email and Gmail
Hello,
When Windows Mail synchronizes my Gmail account in IMAP it me but the following error:

Code:
The remote loading of the headings of the file “[Gmail]” is not finished. Impossible to select “[Gmail]” on waiter IMAP. You can try to bring up to date your list of files so that it is synchronized with your waiter IMAP. Count: “Perso/Work”, Waiter: “imap.gmail.com”, Protocol: IMAP, Answer of the waiter: “Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail] (Failure)”, Port: 993, Protected (SSL): Yes, Number of error: 0x800CCCD2

Can you say to me how to solve it please because I do not know.

Re: Problem with Windows Email and Gmail
Windows email is 100% compatible with gmail it is enough to follow the following steps:

to start first of all with: to activate the transfer of pop at gmail

then, and only then: you return the options as follows:

Entering mail server (POP3) - SSL necessary: pop.gmail.com
Connection SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing mail server (smtp) - TLS necessary: smtp.gmail.com (to use the authentification)
To use the authentification: Yes
Connection STARTTLS: Yes (called SSL by certain customers)
Port: 465 or 587

keep us informed

Re: Problem with Windows Email and Gmail
you have google made a research by putting POP3 and IMAP.
POP3 is Email clients download your emails onto your computer. Using a specialized email program such as Outlook Express or Apple Mail has the advantage of giving you complete control over your email; every email you receive is placed on your computer and you can keep as many large file attachments as you want.

IMAP is protocol that is being used in webmail. Checking your email through our webmail is similar to using Hotmail or YAHOO! Mail. You never actually copy your messages to your computer; in fact, you are looking at them through your web browser on somebody else's computer. When you are not online, you are not able to see your email.
