Recently a few days back , I have automatic updated Win XP, after I've downloaded the SP 2, after it is installed and activated the firewall stop, after a while I noticed that shipping is slowing and practically stopped, then he turned off the firewall but the problem has persisted,

Apart the OS in general has slowed, I read that SP2 gives such problems so I decided to uninstall it but have read that Microsoft has a patch to correct problems with the theme of SP2 Internet, in a manner I prefer not to touch anything

SP 2 At the moment things seem back to normal, I suppose that would be appropriate to have it installed for security but if I'm going to give trouble connecting, I must point qe not use p2p programs, so for now I preferred to uninstall SP 2

Hello, if you can, save data and reinstall the operating system altogether, without recovery ..
You tried to remove SP2?

Hello again, I uninstalled Service Pack 2 and besides I did a system restore to return to the starting point before installing Service Pack 2, I hope that I helps me.
