No sound in firefox

No sound in firefox
hi,
i have problem with my mozilla FireFox. when i go to any website like YouTube, orkut and i try to play embedded videos or any songs or music file i get no sound,there is no issue with my headphone or speaker because when i try to play that video or that same file in another browser like opera, IE it play just fine.

hi,
have you tried re-installing flash player, or just firefox?In Firefox go to the about:plugins page and check that flash player is installed properly.

Mozilla browsers unable to play audio file or video content becasue they require the help of media players and browser plugins. The most common plugins used are Java and Flash. Try EraserOnes link and start with adding those plugins.You may already have the correct media players installed that can play audio and video files, but this does not guarantee that you have the plugins needed when the audio or video is embedded inside the web page itself.

have you checked the firefox that your using is not beta of ff? also did you try and boot firefox into safemode.start>all programs> mozilla firefox>firefox safemode or you can go to start and put in "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"and see or try and removing all of firefox and install it again and make sure not a beta verson.
