Google Native Client: x86 code in Web applications
With the aim of improving its platform Native Client, and technology through which Google wants to make possible the execution of x86 native code inside a web browser, the giant founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin launched a kind of competition . To be won around $ 8000 which will be paid to those who report safety issues in the "Native Client", a product still under development in laboratories Google.
The technology opensource "Native Client", as stated by Google, will allow the management of x86 code without impacting negatively on the features that users expect from any good web application. The platform must not constrain the use of a specific browser, it should be portable and therefore used on different operating systems available on the market must offer sufficient guarantees in terms of security.
The project is currently in an embryonic state, the giant Mountain View search, however, now, to raise the interest of developers and security experts with the aim to verify how robust "infrastructure" so far achieved.

Yes, it is potentially a great way to develop applications but there's always security risk when you are executing code.

Looks like Virtual Machines or Virtual OSes are the future and the browser is the window, with the web as the network.
