Getting black screen while launching Diablo III
below mentioned is system configuration of my computer.

I have installed Diablo on my computer. whenever I am trying to launch the game, I am getting KSOD with an error message ‘Input not supported’ Let me know if you are having any useful solution to resolve the matter. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the situation I am suggesting that you should try to launch the game as administrator on your computer.
Look for the exe file of the game and right click on it.
From the right click context menu you have to click on the Run as Administrator.
Again you can try to launch the game into compatibility settings. You should right click on the game and click on Properties.
From Properties and click on Compatibility tab. Select the appropriate option to launch the game.

After going through problem I recommend that you should try to launch the game into windows mode.

You have to go for My Documents folder and Diablo III folder.

Over there you have to search for D3Prefs.txt file.

Open that into Notepad file.

You have to look for
Code:
DisplayModeWindowMode "0"
Code:
And simply edit the same with
DisplayModeWindowMode "1"
Now save the same and exit the game and see whether it is working or not.

You might need to lower down the graphics settings.

You should disable VSync, multi-sampling.
Also you should lower down environment detail levels.

Another thing I wanted to tell you that try to launch the game in different resolution and see whether it is making any difference in the situation.

Do you have installed any antivirus program on your computer? if your answer is yes then you should disable the same and see whether game is getting crashed or not. In case there is no change in the situation then I recommend that you should try to launch the game and see whether it is working or not.

Make sure that you have installed latest version of graphic card drivers as well as DirectX on your computer. You can get the same from the official website. After installing DirectX and drivers you must reboot your computer.
