Re: Firefox plugins and addons backup
It is very easy to backup your bookmarks in firefox with bookmarks manager. But there is no option in firefox for backing up your addons and plugins. You can find a directory containing all your plugins, extensions, addons, etc. in: "C:\Username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.....default"

MozBackup is a simple utility for creating backups of Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Mozilla Sunbird, Flock, SeaMonkey, Mozilla Suite, Spicebird, Songbird and Netscape profiles. It allows you to backup and restore bookmarks, mail, contacts, history, extensions, cache etc. It's an easy way to do Firefox backup.

Re: Firefox plugins and addons backup
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions. It will actually rebuild your extensions individually into installable .xpi files. FEBE backs up your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, passwords, cookies and just about everything else Firefox offers.
