Internet Explorer 8 soon distributed via Windows

Yesterday, Microsoft made available for download the new version of
Internet Explorer for Windows XP and Vista. Besides improvements in
the stability and security, the browser has a new rendering engine
friendly web standards.

Internet Explorer 8 should be available via Windows Update update
priority from 23 March to testers and from April 13 for all Internet
users. Thereafter, the software will be distributed by Automatic
Update on 27 April.

On receiving the new version, many users are likely to be surprised by
the engine of Internet Explorer when it will go on sites optimized for
previous versions of the browser. Remains whether this will affect the
market share of Internet Explorer, will slow the adoption of the final
draft or a movement to help standardize the websites.
