Details on AMD's 2011 roadmap

Much of AMD's current roadmap is already known. A new addition, however, among other platforms or processors for notebooks and netbooks - a segment that AMD apparently considered to be extremely important. So for 2009 under the code name "Caspian" for the area of mainstream laptops, a 45-nanometer processor is planned: two cores, 2 MB cache and DDR2 memory support are announced. is "In" Champlain a year later the number of cores doubles to four and DDR3 support.
