Detect and Repair on Outlook 2003 lost EVERYTHING

Detect and Repair on Outlook 2003 lost EVERYTHING I am new to this forum, so forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong area. My Outlook 2003, on Vista, had become rather unstable lately so I tried the Detect and Repair function. When prompted, I checked both boxes to restore original shortcuts. When it was done, I had a brand new Outlook 2003 and lost ALL of my files that were in my Outlook. Please tell me they are still on my PC somewhere. I cannot believe this just wiped everything out. I did the System Restore but that didn't help. All help would be appreciated. I don't know how, but it does appear to have reinstalled. I simply did the Detect and Repair and chose to redo the shortcuts. Do you recommend any particular recovery software? I saved a lot of stuff in my email files. That's where all your stuff is, not the program itself. If it's at a default location, it's probably buried in your user folder/Application Settings/Microsoft/... see if you can find it. I was very much worried after the loss of my essential data, then I found an effective Repair Outlook 2003 tools for my PC. It effectively restore my corrupted PST files which can be easily accessed over MS Outlook 2003 version. I will highly recommend these multi-utility tools.
