Firefox 3.0 bookmarks management
Hi,
I need some tips on using bookmarks properly in Firefox 3.0. I am using the same. My frequency of visiting media sites is high. So browser like Internet Explorer is not so good in that. That is why I choose this browser an an alternative. How properly and easily can I manage this. Also how to use tab browsing more frequently in this browser. Thanks in advance.

Firefox 3.0 differs from the competition through outstanding performance. But the speed gains are not the only advanced this ersion 3. To mark a Web site directly, simply click on the small star which is endowed with the address bar. The site is immediately added to Bookmarks, without filing or request additional step.

To save the bookmark to a specific location in the tree favorites, you must click a second time on the star (you can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D. A box appears quite traditional. You can then rename the shortcut and specify which folder you want to store. Bookmarks are now managed as a database by displaying the menu Bookmark there are options like "Shortlist scored recently, or Bookmarks unclassified, etc.

Re: Firefox 3.0 bookmarks management
You can now assign keywords (called Tags in Firefox) for each bookmark. These keywords are very important because they allow an organization and search smarter and more flexible than the traditional organization hierarchy. Feel free to assign multiple labels, separated well from each other by commas. To make this work long term, it is important to use a certain consistency in the labels. To easily find the sites according to their label, call option Organize bookmarks via its shortcut Ctrl + Shift + B and then deploy "Labels".

Under Firefox 3, it is extremely rare to have to enter URLs (ie web addresses) complete. Indeed, the new address bar reacts in real time your entry by offering you all your bookmarked pages containing the word or words before or in the URL, either in their title page or their label. In addition, this research also explores the history of sites visited (and therefore the search words you type in URLs and page titles already visited).

The display order of occurrence of web address follows the frequency of visits: the most visited sites appear at the top. Remember that the search done on the labels (or keywords) assigned to each bookmark. Remember to assign labels very short (one or two letters) to your sites most frequently visited. Just re-install in case of errors.
